Unique: why Disney never made Snarled 2

For the past few years, as Walt Disney Animation Studios has continuous its remarkable run of published success, rumours of sequels to finally its films have gathered energy.

The last 'official' sequel Disney created to one of its classic line of animated features and benefits was The Rescuers Down Under, that was made available way back in 1990. Of course , there's generally the dozens of mainly straight to DVD sequels that infected stores throughout the nineties and 2000s, but they were the project of a separate part of Disney.

Nonetheless , we keep hearing word related with Wreck-It Ralph 2 and Frosty 2, both of which are believed to be as part of development. And once upon a time, there seems to be chat of a follow-up to Walt Disney Animation Studio's 50th computer animated feature, 2010's Tangled.

And now some of us have found out the simple reason why it did happen.

We chatted to Tangled's producer, Roy Conli, for the orgazm of his new film, Substantial Hero 6. And he confirmed the Tangled 2 was something that The disney produtcions was actively investigating (and yes that conversations about sequels have proven to be coming up at Disney).

"There was obviously a desire to somehow take it into a filmic sequel", he admitted of Snarled. So why did it stumble? It drop to the fact that directors Nathan Greno on top of that Byron Howard ultimately "weren't highly interested" in following up the story. Simply, as Conli pointed out, "her scalp was gone! "

So there they are. Not a complicated story, but usual confirmation that Disney was yes working on an official sequel to one from the animated hits.
