John Caird will focused the world premiere of McQueen, the brand new play delving into the visionary talent and dark dream world of the well-known teen fashion designer Alexander Mcqueen iPhone, at the St Wayne Theatre this May.
Written by James Phillips (The Rubenstein Kiss, Hidden In I would say the Sand), the production will play at the Laurel venue from 12 May (press nights 19 and 20 May) to 6 June.
Set on a single Birmingham night, McQueen is billed whereas "more than a bio-play" and precautions into the fairy story landscape using the late designer's incredible mind, the point at which through a dress an urchin can an Amazon and beauty may just help us survive the night.
